The nesting season typically spans from November to April, during which the northern part of the beach is protected to ensure the safety of these gentle creatures. Visitors are encouraged to respect the conservation efforts and avoid disturbing the nesting sites.

By Road:Accessible via road from major towns like Margao and Panjim. However, the last stretch involves navigating through unpaved roads and rocky terrains, so it’s advisable to use a sturdy vehicle.
By Air: The nearest airport is Goa International Airport (Dabolim), approximately 68 km away. From the airport, travelers can hire a taxi or cab, which takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.
By Train: The closest railway station is Canacona, situated around 15 km. From the station, one can hire an auto-rickshaw or taxi to reach the beach.
